Casino Reception Desk
This reception desk for a casino in Bell Gardens, California utilizes a few different finishes: plastic laminate, wood veneer & stone. The service side is full overlay cabinetry with cash, file & storage drawers as well as slide out printer trays all on full extension drawer slides. There are coordinated cutouts and access holes throughout for wiring hook-ups and electrical access.
All necessary elevations, sections and details are shown with enlarged details for the custom routed drawer pull and even are partial longitudinal section clarifying the assembly details at the ADA counter top transition.
Facet Front Reception Desk
This reception desk for a general contracting office in El Segundo, California has plastic laminate cabinetry & a stainless steel counter top that transitions to the multi-facet face of the customer side die wall.
All the elevations show the dimensions from the face to the high points of each facet. All the sections show a true representation of the facets at the exact plane they are cut through. I included a 3D wireframe view for a visual reference of the varying angled facets for clarity. Enlarged details show the counter top to die wall face conditions.
Booth Surround & Column Enclosure
At a restaurant inside a 5 star hotel in Beverly Hills is where this booth enclosure fixture is located. The walls and deck are all clad in stone, with flush storage cabinetry located on the back side and metal & mirrored column enclosures.
These fully engineered drawings included allowances for all the NIC booth seating, access into the building and installation around existing concrete columns. Enlarged details clarify the attachment of the curved glass. I also included isometric details clarifying the assembly of the loose joints for the column enclosures.
Column Paneling
This drawing is for 2 columns located at the reception area of a hotel in San Jose, California. These have a stile and rail detail with the flat recessed panels on the lower half and horizontal tongue and groove inside the upper recessed panel.
All necessary elevations are shown in these drawings. There is also a full scale detail of the T&G molding that can be cropped and sent directly to your vendor to have run. This is a simple example of a millwork elevation to show my capabilities in areas other than casework. I do it all!
Floor Plan with Chair Rail
This chair rail is located in the queuing area for a popular ride at a theme park in Anaheim, California. The chair rail is a buyout metal extrusion with a composite PVC material as a top, bottom & finished end trim
I engineered this chair rail to be attached to then hung on a rabbeted hanging cleat system for easy installation. The shop drawings show a large scale detail with clear notes. I also included a partial elevation so that the mounting heights are clear to the installation crew. Enlarged details of the chair rail termination is also clearly shown. A simple offset line on the floor plan shows all the areas the chair rail occurs.
